Good News! Du Sol students now can migrate to regular colleges
Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has finally released an official notification which is going to bring celebrations for the 2,00,000 (2 lakhs) students who are enrolled under the SOL for five undergraduate courses. This is really a piece of good news for the one who always wanted to join a regular college but due to fewer marks or other reasons, they end up in the DU SOL. It has been a decade, as before the semester system came in action in 2010 this option for the SOL students to join regular colleges was voided.
Before 2010 due to annual system, DU Sol lost this privilege of migrating to the regular colleges. Now, executive council o the Delhi University (DU) has approved the migration but under one condition which student has to meet in order to do so, SOL students have to score more than 60% or above in the final first-year examination.

Well as per the officer on special duty Ramesh Bhardwaj, it’s kind of boon for the students who were not having enough marks in the 12th class to take admission in the regular on the first place and also there is some underprivileged student who wanted admission in the regular college but they cant do so. He also pointed on the need for change in the syllabus too as its the same.
So, DU SOL are you happy and gonna score more than 60% in the final first-year to get migrated in the regular colleges.
